Quantitative Determination of Vitamin H Using Colorimetry

Abstract
|
|
|
A modified method has been made by means of investigations and study of quantitative method using colorimetry(Takeshi Tsuda, 1968) considering our laboratory circumstances for Korean.
As a result of this investigation, we could be described with following improved points.
The absorption spectrum of vitamin H has an absorption maximum at 520 mp, and the calibration curve of vitamin H from 10 through 160 pg/mi concentration was linear and obeys Beer´s law.
The maximum color intensity with a constant absorbancy is produced at 25 to 30°C- within 45 min, and after development of the color, the resulting solutions were stable for at least 90 min.
The reproducibility of this investigation for quantization of vitamin H was indicated within 1. 0% range.
